 Sarah. About 5 May 2000 -
Today, we're honouring our little Sarah girl.
Sarah's story is currently being written and will appear here when finished.
Sarah was a beautiful domestic short haired feline, all white with gorgeous blue eyes. But, she was not deaf. She had joined our family as a family pet at a time when my mother's health was not great. Sarah was my mother's pick and she lavished her with total love. Overall, Sarah was a very healthy cat. She had been brought to Skyway Animal Hospital in St. Catharines, our vet's office, by a lady from Niagara Falls. Sarah had been found wondering the hallways of that woman's apartment building and no one seemed to want to claim her. So, Sarah arrived in St. Catharines. We were told that the next morning when the staff went into the clinic Sarah had given birth to 5 lovely little kittens - a complete surprise to everyone as she certainly didn't look overly pregnant at the time of her arrival.
Sarah was diagnosed with cholangeal hepatitis July, 2010 following a laproscopic biopsy performed by Dr. Todd Morgan of Morgan Animal Hospital in Niagara Falls, Ontario. She had been sick since May 2010 and I knew that it was something serious.
We will remember you every day and will honour your life and memory in having your photo, paw and nose prints and fur clipping take pride of place in our Much-Loved Pets gallery. Sarah's ashes were returned to Pets Niagara and have been interred with her much loved mum.
We want to thank all of Wilson's Animal Hospital staff and Sarah's veterinarian for all the care that they provided to Sarah during her time with Pets Niagara.
