Our vision for our sanctuary is to provide a place where pets accepted into our sanctuary program can live in a free-roaming environment in bungalows with indoor and fully fenced outdoor areas complete with perches, trees, and as appropriate, dens, shallow in-ground pools for summertime cooling, and many raised areas to perch on. All indoor areas will be equipped with heat for the harsh Ontario winters and provide cool places for our hot summer days. For pets with special medical needs separate appropriate housing is envisioned for each specific need that will include screened-in porches so that they, too, can enjoy fresh air and sunshine. Here, they will live a life of dignity, receiving the medical care, food, attention and love they need to heal.

Each pet that comes to the sanctuary is promised several things, including nutritious food and proper veterinary care. Our promise also includes a beautiful safe outdoor space where they can choose their own path to walk and lie down, plenty of options for shade, climbing and alone time.

Commemorative Bricks & Benches

Purchasing a commemorative brick or a bench is a perfect for family, friends and pets. Your purchase will also help to build the facility we need to care for the animals at Pets Niagara including food, enrichment, enclosures and much more. For as little as $100 you can be a part of The Sanctuary by purchasing a commemorative brick to be placed in the Sanctuary Garden.

These bricks are a great way to recognize children, grandchildren, marriages, and other special events, or a lasting memorial for a loved one or pet. They are also unique gifts, and perfect for any occasion. You are allowed 16 characters for engraving.

Please note that bricks and bench lines need to be purchased in bulk, therefore, your order today may need to wait to be produced with a batch. Entire benches can be produced as soon as you place your order. We will send you a photo via email of your brick/bench once it arrives.
